After graduation, he worked as a real estate appraiser for the LA County Assessor.
After retirement in 1978, he formed his own real estate appraisal company
After retirement in 1978, he also became a real estate textbook author for Wiley Books, Prentice Hall and others.
Moved to the Central Coast of CA in 1990, where he "played golf, researched family roots and continued his writing activity."
