2300. Sadler Holman
The 1900 Clay Co., TN census states that they had only 10 children with all ten still living at the time of the census. All other records indicate they had twelve children. So, more research will have to be done to check this information.
LAND: pg. 52 of Cemetery book states "Sally" Holman land now owned by Andre "Doc" Key. Land on Neelys Creek.
3474. Joanna W. Holman
The 1900 Federal Census states that Joanna Stone had three children, with two living as of the census date.
Original notes stated his name was Arch T. Stone. Don't know what the T. stands for.
1900 Clay County census states that he had three children but only 2 survived to the census time.
Have a problem with this family grouping. Somewhere I got a death date of 1892 for this Arch Stone. Need to locate information. The Clay census has this entry for 1900: Archa R. Stone, 9-1868, married 8 years, 3 children; 2 living; all born TN Joanna W., 10-1867 Micager, son, 8-1893 Darthula, daughter, Jan 1899.
3475. William Shields Holman
The 1900 Census has William Holman's birth date: June 1869 Source information for his family comes from the 1900 Clay Co., TN census, pg 255A.
Some sources state that William and Rachel married on 22 December.
3476. Absalom B. (Red) Holman
The 1900 Clay Co., TN census states that "Red" and Julia Holman had four children with four still living at the time of the census; however, there were only three listed with this family. The listed children were: Mollie, born June 1895; William R., born Aug 1896; and Permelia E., born Jan 1897. This last date seems to be wrong, as she would have been born 6 months after her brother. They stated they had been married for 7 years at the time of the census.
3479. Norman Holman
CENSUS: pg. 105 of 1880 Clay Co., census book has him listed as being 3 years old. However, his brother, Hiram, is not listed in the census and he would have been 3 at the time of the census. Since I don't have any further information on the child, Norman, I wonder if these two children shouldn't be one listing, Hiram???
3484. George Tinsley Holman
NAME: pg. 53 of Cemetery book states that his nickname is: "Flutie".
Walker book source states that they had three children: Paul Terry; Luke Terry; and Austin Terry.
The 1910 Census for Clay Co., TN for his father's family states that "Joe's" name was Joseph F. Terry, age 17.
