Violet L. Grimes, 81, of Okanogan, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2002.
She was born in Missouri and moved to Cashmere with her family.
Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Hendrix and Carolyn Lee Hankey, both of Indianapolis, Ind., and Judith Irene Nelson of Spokane; and a sister, Lenora Coats.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Cashmere Cemetery.

She was married to J. H. Henson July 15, 1912 and to this union were born 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls. Edgar, the oldest boy, preceded her to the better world three years ago in a wood saw accident. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Ora Keller, assisted by Rev. V. H. Kosling and the remains were laid to rest in the Denlow Cemetery." Image.
