Know all men by these presents that I Mary C. Bond a resident of County of Drew } above named State and County do this day name constitute and appoint R. P. Bond a resident of Claiborne Parish La. my true and lawful agent and attorney in fact to act for me and in my stead in the sale and disposition of any and all real estate situated in Claiborne La. belonging to the Succession of G. F. Bond deceased late of said Parish in which I have an interest and also in the sale of any and all personal property belonging. Giving my said agent power to sign my name to any deed of conveyence or other documents that may be necessary in selling said property real and personal. Giving him power to receipt for any money or other property arising from such sale or sales Hereby ratifying and approved all acts done by my said agent in the premises.

State of Louisiana } Before me J. M. Henry a Notary Public in and for the above named Parish of Claiborne} parish and State personally came and appeared W. N. Edwards and S. A. Edwards, T. M. and N. Y. Williams, John Foster and M. J. Foster, J. A. and L. N. Matthews, G. M. and L. L. Bond, J. W. Bond and J. J. and M. C. Bond the latter by power of attorney all heirs to the G. F. Bond estate who declared that for and in consideration of the sum and price of three hundred and fifty dollars $350.00 cash in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged they have this day and do by these presents grant sell convey and deliver with a full guarantee of title unto R. L. Bond of Claiborne parish all of their right title and interest both for the present as well as all rights title interest and claim in the future that they might otherwise claim as heirs to the said G. F. and Francis E. Bond Estate situated in the State of Louisiana and parish of Claiborne and described as follows to-wit: The NE 1/4 of Section twenty-one (21) less two acres in the NE corner of NE 1/4 of NW 1/4 all in Section 21 Township 23 Range 8 West containing one hundred and fifty eight acres more or less with all improvements thereon. Together with all their interest title and claim both present and future in the following described personal property to-wit: 3 cows 5 hogs and 2 horses also one waggon.

State of Louisiana } Know all me by these presents that I Francis O. Krouse of the Parish of Claiborne} Parish of Webster and State aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of eight hundred dollars of which seven hundred dollars cash in paid to me by G. F. Bonds and for one hundred dollars in his note payable on Decr. 1, 1873, the receipt is hereby acknowledged have this day sold and bargained transfered and delivered and do by these presents sell and bargain transfer convey and deliver unto the said G. T. Bond of the Parish of Claiborne and State aforesaid the following tracts of parcels of land with all the buildings and improvements thereon to wit: the West half of the North West quarter of Section twenty-one Township twenty- three Range eight containing eighty acres more or less and the South East 1/4 of the North West quarter and North East quarter of North West quarter of Section twenty-one Township twenty-three Range eight containing seventy-nine 75/100 of acres more or less, and lying in the Parish and State aforesaid, he the said G. F. Bond to have and to hold the above described land to his proper use and behoof forever, and I Francis O. Krouse for myself and my heirs and assigns to the said purchaser and his heirs and assigns will forever warrant and defend the title to the above mentioned land _____ last all troubles _______ or other incumbrances or against the lawful troubles and claims of all and every other person or persons whomsoever. Thus done and signed in presence of the subscribing witnesses the 4th day of January A. D. 1873.

They had ten children: Lucinda Henrietta, Annis, Carrie, Jenny, Joe, Robert Lee, Martha Jane, Greene Marshall, Jerusha, and Ruth Ann Francis.
Note: Under Research, on the application for a delayed birth certificate, the father of Joe Bond is listed as Sam. Joe is Greene Fuller Bond and Frances Amos' son.
Also, on the 1850 census of Talbot Georgia, there was a Samuel Bond that lived with James Amos' family, as farm Labor. James is the brother of Frances and she lived in Talbot at that time as well.
