Notes

William Wymore

He was a butcher in the 1860 census, presumably in his father’s store, but he did not live at home and seemed unmarried since he resided in Liberty with John W. Nelson (or Wilson), 42, a tinner, next door to his father. The census records are in the Clay Co. Historical Society archives (7-94).

At some point he moved to Kansas City where he died in July of 1894 at age 59, leaving a wife and sons.

Oscar P. Wymore

In July, 1898, he was gored by a bull while leading it to water and died of the injury .
