Obituary: Karen Fay Handy, 37, of Camdenton, Missouri died at her home on Sunday, August 4, 1996.
    She was born August 12, 1958, in Camdenton, the daughter of Arthur Junior and Elizabeth Morris McDowell.  Karen was married on September 23, 1994 to Warren Handy who survives of the home.
    Karen was a homemaker and a member of Linn Creek Baptist Church.

    She is survived by a daughter, Jessica Leap, of Camdenton; her mother of Camdenton, three brothers, Larry McDowell and Bobby Nicks, both of Camdenton and Gary McDowell of Excelsior Springs; five sisters, Carolyne Cotten of Eldon, Sharon Soum, Linda Johnson, Judy Gohagen, all of Camdenton, Patsy Shellaburger of Lakeland, Florida.  She was preceded in death by her father and a daughter, Melissa Leap.
    There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday August 7, 1996, at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Macks Creek, with Rev. Rick Ginnings officiating.
    Arrangements were under the direction of the Hedges Funeral Home of Camdenton.
