OBITUARY: Post Gazette. Wednesday. July 13. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday in St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Sewickley. Died Monday in St. John's Hospital, Jackson, Wyo.
A graduate of Salisbury School in Connecticut and Yale University in 1930, Mr. Oliver patronized the arts throughout his life. For the past 19 years he served as a trustee for Carnegie Museum.
An avid and accomplished dry fly fisherman, Mr. Oliver maintained a ranch in Wyoming and was vitally interested in fish and wildlife conservation.
He was a member of numerous clubs and organizations including the Duquesne Club and Allegheny Country Club.
He is survived by his wife, Emily Frew Oliver; two sons, Henry Oliver III of Santa Fe, N.M., and Charles Oliver II of Chapel Hill, N.C.; a sisteer, Mrs. Mary Oliver Robinson of Sewickley, and two grandchildren.
Friends will be received at his residence on Blackburn Road tomorrow. Burial will be in Sewickley Cemetery.
