GEDCOM file from Joe Cannon, Bay City, TX in Jul 1998 to T. Mason; NOTES: After the death of Will, Louisa Jane married a Mr. Allen Moody and moved to Rule, Texas. She is buried there. I have not been able to find any issue with Mr. Moody.
DESCENDANTS: Following e-mail sent to T.Mason by Wendy, "Davis_W" 18 Nov 2000: James Sylvester Cannon (b. March 31, 1878) and Alice Welch were my grandfather's parents. My grandfather was Mark Thomas Cannon, born May 25, 1911, in Kermit, Texas. James and Alice had two additional children, Cecil and Clarice. James' second marriage to Bess (surname unknown) produced Glenna, who would be my grandfather's half-sister. Mark married Hellen Maxine Murphy and they had two daughters. Margueritte Alice (my mother) and Tommy Maxine.

Alice was his first wife, do not have the name of the second yet.DESCENDANT-RESEARCHER: Information received by T.Mason on 26 Jul 2002 from Wendy Davis indicates "Birth Certificate of Mark Thomas Cannon (my maternal grandfather) shows that Alice was born in Comanche County and was 23 years old in 1911 when Granddad was born. I also found a letter referring to "Grandma and Grandpa Welch" who both are buried in Rule, Texas. The letter
states that Nathaniel died in 1936 at age 98. The letter also mentions an Aunt Elma Welch Bridges who is buried in Rule."
