Notes

Virginia Mae Burden

Virginia was a beautiful girl that suffered a very traumatic life. At age 3, she was badly burned on the lower part of her body while playing with fire. As a result, she was a patient in Baylor Hospital (Dallas, Texas) for 17 months and then lived at home for 2 years under a lighted box that her father built. This was to help heal the large sore (equal to 2 large hands) on her left hip. During the time she was recovering from the burn, she contracted both double pneumonia and the measles. She also suffered seizures when she was 12, but this was controllable with medication. She married twice and had 4 children altogether. Her first child, James, died in a terrible fire along with his cousin, Christopher Skinner. Her life ended tragically when she died of breast cancer at the age of 46.

James Aubrey Bounds

James died in a tragic fire.
