We visited Claud and Tump when Geraldine was 10 months old (1924). That was where Geraldine took her first step. Tump and Claud were doing fine, good crops, good money. Some grocery man told his workers, "if Claud Holland comes in here for grocerys and we don't have it on the first shelf go to the second shelf, it it is not there, we will get it soon." Mr. Claud Holland was well thought of. It seems Francis was about 8 years old at that time. Of course you know Claud Holland married Tump (Mildred) Ratliff. The first time Claud got sick was when they lived at Brino.
